Export simulation results in excel file

Holz

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to export my simulation results in an excel file and do further analysis, but I get the following error:

*Error* Process ipc:87 failed to export results to the Excel file 'parseJsonToExcel.py error: Json file '/home/hz/csv' does not exist.

What could be the reason for this?  Thanks a lot for help!

Regards,

Holz

    Holz,

Which IC sub-version are you using? This error indicates that a temporary file normally used to convert to Excel couldn't be created, but from what I can see in current versions that gets detected and reported clearly - and it's not a file called "csv" either (it creates a temporary .json directory containing the json file for the results prior to converting to Excel)

So for example for me, if I give a non-writable location, I get:

WARNING (ASSEMBLER-2206): Results Database: The exportData function failed because the program cannot write to the file /bin/Interactive.1.xlsx0.json.
Verify that the file is not write-protected and try again.

    (this is with IC6.1.8.64bit.500.19)

    Hallo Andrew,

I fixed this problem. I can export the excel file into the file system, in which I source the environment file for virtuoso. I got the error because I tried to export the excel file to another file system. But when I export the result as csv file, both file systems work.

File systems here are /home/ and /Local/, and I source the experiment file in /Local.

    Thanks for help

    Regards,

    Holz
