Hi All ,

I am using cadence virtuoso version IC618, i want to add the shortcut that when i press "9" the selected net gets probed , I don't know where exactly to make changes to achieve this. Kindly help me with it.

Thanks

    Assuming this is for a schematic, that's one of the default bind keys, so presumably something in your environment is overwriting that. For example, if you run "virtuoso -nocdsinit" you should see that the 9 key in the schematic editor does exactly this, and if you go to Options->Bindkeys in the CIW, pick Schematics and search for 9, you'll see that this is the definition:

    geEnterAddNetProbe()

    You could add your own entry in your .cdsinit file (assuming this is after whatever in your environment is changing the 9 bindkey - perhaps you can check that by running the steps above without the "-nocdsinit" to see what it is being set to?):

    hiSetBindKey("Schematics" "<Key>9" "geEnterAddNetProbe()")

    Regards,

    Andrew
