Use Maestro expressions in Ocean script

FormerMember

Hello,

I have an Ocean script in maestro, which generates some outputs depending on simulation variables. The variables I get with the 'pv(...)' function, but I also want to use some other expressions I defined in the 'Outputs Setup'. Is this possible? I can't find an example for it.

Best regards

Paul

    Hi Paul,

Are you talking about using an OCEAN script output in ADE? You can use calcVal within that OCEAN script, but there is a limitation at the moment that the dependency tracking doesn't work properly as it's not (yet) parsing the script to look for calcVal usage to ensure that the dependencies are resolved.

So I think (and I haven't really tested this) you might need to ensure that all the outputs you are referring to with calcVal are defined in the outputs before the OCEAN script measurement.

Thanks Andrew, this is what I meant. I know calcVal, but did not thought about using it here.

    Best regards
