Plotting a function on Cadence calculator that requires the temperature read from x-axsis

Hello,

I am dealing with temperature to frequency sensor design.

I have simulated the output frequency as a function of temperature in the range from -40 to 85

I need to calculate and plot the sensor accuracy, the is the error as

error in °C = f(T)actual output curve - f(T) ideal curve

approxiamating my sensor output to a linear curve, the ideal curve will be

f(T) = fo-S(T-To)

where fo and To are the frequency and temperature at nominal room condition. S is the average slope

The above variables are very easy to get from simulation, but  my problem is how plot this function [ fo-S(T-To)], it contains the variable T that is introduced by cadence and I don't know how to import it as a variable in Cadence calculator

I am using Cadence Virtuoso version IC6.1.8-64.500.6

Thank you

Regards

You should be able to use VAR("temp") to access the temperature from a simulation in a Calculator expression. Have you tried that? This is detailed in the On-line Support article at Cadence URL:
