Calculating Internal Power in Liberty File

NKFET
NKFET over 3 years ago

Hello,

I have created a liberty file (.lib) of standard cells using a device model and netlist in SPICE format by Cadence Liberate. Now, I want to verify my cell characteristics in the ".lib" file by SPICE simulating with Cadence Spectre. I could verify some characteristics like timing and leakage power of a cell (e.g., INVX1), but I do not know how to calculate each pin's "Internal Power." I know that internal power is the dynamic power of the cell, excluding switching power, but I could not calculate it correctly using Cadence Spectre.
Would you please help me with this problem and guide me on how to calculate "internal power" with Spectre so that the result is consistent with the ".lib" file generated by Cadence Liberate? (e.g., for INV cell)

Many Thanks
