How to open MATLAB from ADE Explorer?

SteveVrk

Hi,

A trivial question: How do I open MATLAB from ADE Explorer?

If I open ADE Assembler, run my sim, go to the results tab, I see the M button "Open MATLAB" with which I can easily work with the sim results.

I don't see this button anywhere in ADE Explorer (however, MATLAB expressions do work).

Thanks!

Go over one of your outputs (the value column if it was a single run, or the corner name column for a particular output) and do Right Mouse->Open MATLAB...

    That was indeed trivial. Thanks!

    Dear SteveVrk,

I guess I am late...but many of the Assembler commands can be opened in Explorer by right clicking the test of interest. A choice of items is provided. To access MATLB, Figure 1 shows the menu item to choose when you right clock your test. Opening the right click->

Figure 2 shows the results GUI where I highlight the radio button you may use to open MATLAB immediately. I am hoping  this helps and I properly understood your question SteveVrk!

    Shawn,

Unfortunately that's for the Simulink co-simulation flow, not for the ADE MATLAB interface (which is for data processing). So that's not the right way of doing it in this case...

    Dear Andrew,

Yet once again, I must thank you for stepping in and correcting my improper interpretation and resulting incorrect answer! I am so sorry for taking up your time, but appreciate it for others sake!
