Virtuoso Error

Hi All,

I am trying to integrate "IC618" with a180nm standard PDK. When I am tying to launch Cadence with the command "virtuoso &" it is giving this message:

"/opt/cadence/installs/IC618/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin/64bit/virtuoso: error while loading shared libraries: libPolyBool.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Can you please help me out with this? Thank you.

    That's rather odd because libPolyBool.so is included in the IC installation under <ICinstDir>/tools/lib/64bit and should be picked up by the standard wrapper (assuming that you're running virtuoso by having <ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/bin in your path).

    Please contact customer support.

    Dear Andrew,

    Thank you for your prompt response. I am wondering where I should contact to report my problem. I am new to this system, therefore it would be great if you could help me out. Attached is the screenshot of my cases window.

    Go to Cases->Submit Case.

    Hi Andrew,

    I am only finding the view requests option as a dropdown of cases. I am not finding the submit case option. Can it be the case that I am not eligible to submit the cases? Please let me know.

    Did you sign in as a Cadence user by creating a Cadence account?

    If you did, please see the screenshot I included as Figure 1. If you have signed in and you place your mouse over "Cases", there should be two options - "Submit Case" and "View Requests". Choose the former.

    My guess is that you're from an academic institution and so have a limited access account on support.cadence.com? If so, you may need to go through your university contact who has a full account, or via Europractice if under that University scheme.
