Maestro - use other output as spec value.

Hello.
I define some expression in outputs and want to use it in spec (range).
VAR("")  and just output name in the spec field don't work.

You can't just give the name of the output - if you look in the documentation, you'll see that it should be calcVal("limit_minus20") and similar to reference another output in the spec expression.

So , I need to define the variable in outputs : (for example)  limit =1500 * VAR("VDD")/5+0.1  , after that I need to define it again with calcVal : limit_v = calcVal("limit") , rigth ?
And if I need limits +/- 20 (for example)  around "limit" , so I need to define additional outputs and define them also by calcVal ?
    Maybe can I do calculation inside the spec field like "range limit_v *0.8 limit_v * 1.2 ?

Er, no, I didn't say that. I was assuming you already had an output called limit_minus20 (you talked about already having some output, so I assumed that was it). Just put: 1500 * VAR("VDD")/5+0.1 directly in the spec field if you don't need an output defined with the same value. Or you could make it: (1500 * VAR("VDD")/5+0.1)*1.2.

I just tried that and it worked for me (I changed VAR("VDD") to VAR("vdd") because my global variable was in lower case). What error did you get? Which IC sub-version are you using? (Help->About reports this).
