Violations display in ADE L

Hi all,

I created a set of parameter checks using the Device Check Specification in ADE L (Simulation --> Device checking), and activated the related options (Simulation --> Options --> Analog, and then in Check tab I choose dochecklimit=yes and checklimitdest=both).

In the log file I see the correct warnings, i.e.:

But if I open Results --> Violations Display, then looks like all the checks are passed, as in the attached picture, so that I cannot check the details of the violation.

What can be wrong in my setup?

    The best approach would be to contact customer support so that an application engineer can check your setup and try to reproduce the issue.

    This ended up in moderation (by the way) because the repeated text in the warning messages caused the forum system to think it might be spam.

    Hi Andrew, thanks a lot for you suggestion.


    Actually I opened a ticket and had a call with customer support, and we found that sqldb format is not supported in ADE L.  It is supported in ADE XL, Explorer and Assembler.

     For compatibility with ADE L, one should set the following flag in .cshrc file or directly in terminal and restart the Virtuoso Session:

    setenv SPECTRE_ADEXL_COMPATIBILITY 1
