Save Assembler output setup to csv with "Description" column?

Hi,

the csv import export is very nice, but it seems that if I enable the "Description"column, it will not be exported to the csv file.

This is a pity, because a description is often needed if the overall output setup becomes large.

It should be part of the output setup and csv file, because it is valid not only for one run.

    Hi Stephan,

    You didn't mention which IC sub-version you're using (please read the forum guidelines). I just tested this in the latest IC6.1.8 ISR (ISR23) and it works fine, so not sure which you're using. I found a few CCRs with problems in earlier ISRs which have been resolved, but even then I think it was present.

    Hi Andrew, I am using ic 6.1.7.500.15.  Indeed it is quite old, not changed during the design proj (or even after pdk creation). Is there also a Virtuoso 6.1.7 version with this enhancement?

    I tried in IC6.1.7 ISR23 and it worked. I then tried in ISR15 (the version you're using) and it worked too (both from the Outputs and the Results tab). So I don't know why it's not working for you.

    That said, I did find some CCRs where things weren't working in certain situations even in IC6.1.8 and there were fixes in later IC6.1.8 versions, so maybe there's a bug with specific data or setups that I'd not seen in my testcase (and I don't have the time to do a detailed analysis on what might or might not be broken in an old version).

    Thanks Andrew, I tried csv saving again in isr15:

    At results tab I got the Description entries, good.

    But at output setup the descriptions are missing in the csv, although I entered them there.

    With ic618isr22 the problem is gone! I am happy.
