Remote-Host Simulation in ADE-L (or ADE Assembler) Does Not End

Hello, I have a few questions about the remote-host processing in ADE-L.

I couldn't find this type of troubleshooting at the support so please excuse me even if I'm writing an unusual question.

Since the remote-host processing in ADE-L is based on rsh (under IC 6.1.8), I've installed all packages required to execute rsh both on the remote server and local client.

When I run the simulation, I can see the spectre.out (output log file) which pops up after running the simulation and also can see the end log of the simulation

(spectre completes with 0 errors, ...).

I can also see the simulation process fetches at the remote server.

However, the simulation does not end at ADE-L.

That is, the status bar at the bottom of ADE-L still shows the progress bar, although the "Status: " shows "Ready".

And thus, CIW transcript at the local client does not show the end log. (reading simulation data...\n\t ...successful)

So I cannot run the further simulation, since ADE-L shows that "A simulation is currently running. You must wait until the current simulation is done to run another simulation".

From the above, my questions are as follows:

1. Is there any common reason that the remote-host simulation does not end?

2. Is there any way to debug it with some logs?

And for your information, my simulation environment and tool versions are as follows:

OS: CentOS 6.10 at the client, CentOS 7.9 at the server

Virtuoso: IC6.1.7

Sim. env.: ADE L

Spectre: SPECTRE17.1

Thank you for reading!

Sorry for the error. I'd like to correct the information above.

Although ADE-L with virtuoso under IC6.1.7 only supports rsh with GUI control, one can change the default connection method using envSetVal function and I've changed the connection method to ssh.

The above error causes after setting the connection method to ssh.

For the rsh, the result is the same (the simulation does not end at ADE L).
