How to plot waveforms in a particular order in WaveScan (ViVA)

Dear All,

I want to plot the waveforms in a particular order in WaveScan after the simulation is done.

How this can be achieved ?

Kind Regards,

You're using Wavescan? Wavescan was in IC5141 - I just want to check before I answer to know which version you're using for this question.

    Dear Andrew,

    I use

    IC618 Latest ISR-sub-version  IC6.1.8-64b.500.23

Aha - that is not Wavescan, it is ViVA.

Well, your question is not totally clear to me. Are you plotting waveforms in composite or strip mode after selecting the waveforms in the Results Browser? Are you using Assembler or Explorer and relying on them to initiate the plot? Can you provide an example of what you are observing and an example of what you want?

A few possibilities given what I don't know if they are useful at all RFStuff...

    1. If you are using ocean to plot the signals following the completion of the simulation, the order can be set directly in your ocean plot() command.

    2. If you using Assembler or Explorer, you can select the plot order and style you want and save it as a waveform template. In this fashion, a future simulation that you perform can use this template and provide the waveform order you desire.

    3. If you are plotting from the Results Browser or Calculator directly, you can manually move the waveforms as you wish by dragging and dropping or simply "Copy" "Paste" RMB options. You can save the window in ".grf" format and use for a different simulation by opening the results in selecting the results as being in "Context" and then reload the window. The results of the new simulation you chose will then appear in the same order and format as used in your original ".grf" file.
