Adding text note to the layout

Is there a way to do this just like we do in schematic?

I found this solution but I cannot delete or move it once it is placed in the layout.

    That was probably because it always created the label on the "text" layer, and my guess is that you don't have this as a valid or selectable layer in your technology.

    I updated the code (it was written by a colleague) to add a field on the form to specify the layer to use (which will default to "text" if that's a valid layer) and also whether it creates multiple labels or a single label. Hopefully the updated version will serve your needs.
