Parallel routing from bus on the layout

Hello

I am using Cadence Virtuoso version IC6.1.8-64b.500.6.

I want to rout parallel wires from a group of bus pins on the layout. I tried to select those pins but when I do the Creat > wire > bus the cadence creates the bus but not exactly an extension of the pin positions that I want to extend.

Thank you for your help in advance

Regards

I have no idea what "but not exactly an extension of the pin positions" means. Maybe a picture would help?

Rather than pre-selecting the vertices you want to extend, use Create->Wire->Bus with nothing selected, and then do an area select of the vertices you wish to start routing from. That will do what you want.
