Can you try using "dos2unix" on the file? I'm just guessing based on the last comment in the other thread/

I tried that solution but still the same

I guess my problem maybe in the directory im using.

That's the location to the file and that's what i get trying to use dos2unix

    Thanks in advance.

Huh? Your screenshot at the top shows the file as being 12341.txt but here you've run dos2unix with (for some reason) square brackets around the path and have given 321 as the trailing part. Why are you adding square brackets and why haven't you used the correct path?

    Surely it should be:

    dos2unix /home/cadence/tsmc65nm/123/12341.txt

Also, if the message was "Reading file /home/cadence/tsmc65nm/123" then that suggests you've given the wrong file name in the netlist or from the PWL file.

Nothing adds up here - this seems very likely to be a basic usage mistake with an incorrect path having been given.

I also, as did Andrew, immediately noticed when I expanded your initial post graphic that the filename shown in you Explorer Windows GUI indicates its name is "12341.txt" in the directory path "/home/cadence/tsmc65nm/123".

However, in your initial post, you state that Cadence indicates "Reading file: /home/cadence/tsmc65nm/123".

The include file and path, from what I can tell, is "/home/cadence/tsmcnm/123/12341.txt". [1]

It appears your included path is to only to the directory containing the file or "/home/cadence/tsmc65nm/".

Did you try using the path shown to the left of [1] above?

thank you for your help ,
for the "321 as the trailing part" i just created a new file inside the "123" file and put my data on.
my mistake was typing the path like "/home/cadence/tsmc65nm/123/12341" without the "txt" part
    it works now .
