How to simulate portion of the circuit with pre layout models & remaining circuit with post layout models?

In an LDO circuit for stability analysis, I want  to simulate Error amplifier(opamp) alone schematic only and rest of the circuitry in dspf only. Since the circuit has both schematic & dspf , I am using either TSMC pre or post models for simulation. Is there an option to refer portion of the circuit like Error amplifier(schematic) to pre models & remaining circuit (dspf ) to  post models in the same test?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "pre and post models" (this is presumably something specific to the particular TSMC technology you're using). If you need to refer to different model files, then I think the most likely solution will be to use the MTS (Multi-Technology Simulation) capabilities in ADE. Search in the documentation for MTS or Multi-Technology Simulation to find out more. You can then give different models for different blocks.

Thanks Andrew. Its working but it isn't a straight forward step. Found that MTS can be enabled only if maestro view created through config view. If maestro  created through config, default simulator was switched to ams even though specified spectre during config view creation. Switching to spice solved all the ams corresponding problems.

This is only the case if you open ADE from the button in the hierarchy editor. If you launch ADE Explorer/Assembler from a configured schematic (i.e. the schematic when under the control fo the config), the simulator does not default to AMS.

Even the button in the hierarchy editor can have the behaviour changed (my preference is for this to not use AMS automatically):

Changing the default simulator when launching ADE from the Hierarchy Editor (HED) config view

It also will not affect existing maestro views - so once the simulator has been set, opening the maestro view again will not automatically change it.
