Re: command line to select psf directory to allow DC annotation on schematic

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to force an active ADE Explorer, via commands, to open a particular psf folder to allow DC voltage annotation or operating condition on the schematic?

I have an existing simulated testbench where I have both the dcOp data and would like to look at them on the schematic window. In my ADE Explorer, the options to select the psf folder is greyed out.

The results need to be in the expected location for Explorer for this to work. There's no support for linking in arbitrary sets of results (you need to take care that all the mapping data is consistent with the ADE session and so on). You really need the ADE result database (the "rdb" file) to be present too so that it knows what was run - so fooling ADE to point at arbitrary results is tricky (you might need to run a simple simulation from ADE and then replace the PSF data with the data you want).
