Assert device check w/ pss.hb

Hello,

The following assert statement is included in an .scs model file.
vds_check_n1p8 assert subs=[nfet nfet_rf] expr="V(d,s)" min=-2 max=2

In ADE Assembler I set Analog Sim Options > Check > dochecklimt=yes and checklimitdest=psf.
This seems sufficient to activate the device level checks and to send info to the Assembler Results tab when pull down Checks/Assert is selected after running an sp analysis.
After running pss.hb however the results table simply shows "disabled" on the first line and no other info. Documentation says that asserts are supported for analysis type pss. Near the end of the spectre.out file I see a line "asserts:writing assert to rawfile" but I don't see any asserts listed in the body of the spectre.out file as are found when analysis type is sp.

Any trouble shooting suggestions would be appreciated. Also, is it possible to get this assert to work with analysis type hb?

Using:
Virtuoso IC6.1.8-64B.500.23
Spectre 21.1.0.208.isr3 64bit -- 27 Nov 2021

Regards,

Brad

    Brad,

Asserts are not supported in hb and hb-related analyses. In the documentation it says (for assert):

Assert statements, which you specify in the netlist, are supported for transient, AC, DC, DC sweep, noise, pz, sp, and pss analyses.
