Skill equivalent of "Open design in tab" in Assembler

Hi,

In Assembler if I RMB one of the tests there is a menu option "Open design in tab"

How I can open the test design in the tab using SKILL?

Thank you.

    There's no dedicated function (as far as I know) but you could use:

    sevAnnotateResults(axlGetToolSession(axlGetWindowSession() "AC") 'defaults)

    (in this case "AC" is the test name).

    Andrew Beckett Andrew, when I use this function and run sklint to check my SKILL, I am getting following:

    INFO (sevAnnotateResults): ATadexFunctions.il, line 193 (openSchematicForCurrentTest) : This SKILL function is public, but
    should only be used in a .menus file.

    So, is it ok to use this function in skill and not in .menus file?

    Yes, that's a very old SKILL Lint rule, and it's been applied to a broader range of functions than make sense. Some of the "sev" functions clearly are for the UI, but I don't see this one as being one of them (there's no mention in the documentation of this limited use).

    I'll file a CCR on your behalf to get this tidied up.

    Andrew
