How to add variable in Model file and Control the variable from ADE

Hi,

I am trying to add a variable in the model file, then control it from the ADE design variable.

I have gone through these posts(post1 and post2), unfortunately non of them are helping because I am trying to define a variable inside a model device parameter.

model nch_device bsim4 {
1: type=n
+lmin=8.973e-006-dxln_40
+lmax=900.01e-006 wmin=9e-006-dxwn_40
+wmax=900.01e-006 version=4.5
+toxref=3e-009  vth0=0.57213+dvthn_40+MY_VARIABLE
}

It doesn't seem to be working for me. Any help ?

Regards,

Amar

    Amar,

    That should work. I just did this and it worked perfectly.  What's not working?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you for your help.

    I had to play with length and width, since there were multiple if loop for them. It worked at the end when I add the variable in correct loop.

    I will delete this post, since it no use for future.

    Regards,

    Amar
