visibility toggle feature for instances in layout

I wonder if there is visibility toggle feature for instances in layout.
In my mind, it is just like visibility toggle in the layers palette, but for instances instead of layers.

Yes, in the "Objects" section of the palette, you can turn visibility of instances on or off. Note that this only affects instances drawn at the stop level (i.e. as a box rather than the contents). You can of course reduce the stop level to not expand the hierarchy - this just stops the red (usual) instance outline and instance name.

I am aware of that one. But what I meant was a feature that can toggle the visibility per instance.
For example, the top level has 5 instances, then there is a window that has 5 boxes that can toggle the visibility of each instances.

OK, well you didn't say that.

The closest is probably to use this code (or something similar) - it's an article from a colleague using some SKILL code I originally wrote nearly 30 years ago!

SKILL: How to set view/display level to 0 or 32 on per instance basis?

    Hello Andrew,
    Thank you!
That is pretty much what I was looking for.
