CDF Parameter not found

Hello ?

I'm making a custom Schematic Sheet . A variable is assigned to the sheet symbol to fill the information in the sheet.

Then, in the CDF Editor, I selected the Base, and in the Component parameter, I selected the variable, prompt and type.

ex) Name : eng , Prompt : Engineer  ? Type : String , Default value : none , store default : yes , parse as CEL : no Parse as Number : no

The CDF parameter did not appear in the edit object properties ( Shortcut keys : Q)  of the sheet symbol.

Help me plz. thanks~

This is a historical limitation of the Edit Property form. Having discussed with R&D, I filed a Change Request (CCR 2678945) to improve the edit properties form to show CDF parameters for sheets. The limitation is caused by the presence of a cellView property called schType on the sheet symbol with value "border".

The property assistant will show the CDF parameters; it's just the edit properties form that doesn't. The standard way of interacting with the sheet properties is to add a property called schSheetTitles on the sheet symbol (search in the box at the top of the help menu for schSheetTitles), and then you can set the properties using Edit->Sheet Titles on the schematic.

You may want to contact customer support and request a duplicate of CCR 2678945 be filed.

    Regards,

    Andrew
