Layout integration

Hello everyone,

I designed an analog channel; now, I want to make eight channels for an ASIC. One option will be to copy the layout and have eight ones in one layout editor. Is there any other little less manually potion?

Something like the same way that is common in the layout of digital circuits.

Thanks.

    Hi,

(not only) in digitla circuits, copying the layout isn't a good option. You should create 8 instances of the (master) single channel in a new cell both for the layout and schematic views (you need a symbol view for the schematic view).

    Kind regards

    Iqbal
