I am having a problem installing cadence in batch mode. Below is the screenshot of the error. I would appreciate any sort of help in this regard.

    Dear Atav,

    Believe me, I am not an expert on the Cadence tools installation! However, I could not help but notice the rather obvious error your screenshots indicate.

    Are you sure Java is installed and your path variable includes a path to it?

    Hi ShawnLogan,

    I am sure that Java is installed on my system as I type "which java" and "java --version" in UNIX terminal, I can see that Java is installed. Below is the screenshot of it.

    Ahah! Thank you for checking!

    As I mentioned, this are is not my forte, but could not help see the error! For you information, on one of my systems where all the Cadence tools are installed, our commands yield the following:

    $ whence java
    /usr/bin/java
    $ java -version
    openjdk version "1.8.0_181"
    OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_181-b13)
    OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.181-b13, mixed mode)

    There are reports of installation failures of Installscape for RHEL 6.X with JVM errors. I am not sure if you saw the article detailing a possible workaround at the Cadence On-line support site at URL:

    https://support.cadence.com/apex/ArticleAttachmentPortal?id=a1Od0000000nSUsEAM&pageName=ArticleContent

    Basically, the workaround involves editing a line in the installation file "scape.sh" to change the Java version to use in the installation. Is this something you have explored AtaV?

    What OS are you using? What does "lsb_release -a" report?
