Can we disable some values in the corner setup temporarily?

Hi,

I have a specific corner which has these values:

4.5 5 5.5

Actually there are many more, but let's keep the example simple.

Now a colleague told me, he sees problems for specific values like 4.4V.

So the fastest way to check the potential problems if to edit the corner to:

4.4

However, then I get rid of the current settings.

In programming I would just comment out the older values for debuging.

Is there something like "commenting out" in ADE Assembler too, either in the corner tool, or in the data view assistant?

One nice thing would be that e.g. after ;; or // the rest of the line would be ignored.

This would be also extremely helpful in other situations, like for parameter optimization.

Bye Stephan

    Stephan,

No, you can't do that. However, you can go over the Setup States and do Right Mouse->Save Setup State and then give a name, and check "Clear All" and just check "Variables" and then it will save a name for just that set of sweeps. You can then go over that setup state name and do Right Mouse->Load or Right Mouse->Run - so this allows you to easily switch between a swept set, a set for optimisation, and an individual runs.

Thanks, I must become more familiar with Setup States. Looks that many designers and me overlook this feature a bit.
