montecarlo sensitivity and mismatch analysis buttons greyed out

I am using ADE explorer only and aren't able to use the monte carlo sensitivity analysis and mismatch analysis because the buttons are greyed out. Is it because an assembler license is needed?

    There's two requirements:

    1. You needed to have turned on the "Save Statistical Parameter Data" checkbox (which is turned on automatically if you use some of the "Virtuoso Variation Option" methods such as creating statistical corners or yield verification - using sample re-ordering/worst samples or K-sigma corners) - that's what controls whether the buttons are greyed out
    2. You'll need the Virtuoso Variation Options license to use the sensitivity/mismatch contribution tools though (this also enables more advanced statistical simulation; with standard Explorer/Assembler you can "Run a fixed number of points" or use the "Yield Verification - auto stop" mechanism - the other modes need VVO.
