Importing psf file from a old mastero run to an existing mastero for the same testbench schematic

we are  trying to import psf results from a old master setup which used the same test bench as the new one , in adexl we could go to the result tab and select the psf file which we want , this enabled us to use the GUI to annotate the dc voltages and also to plot the waveform by selecting the required node . In mastero it seems that we cant do it , when we try to select the result it only allows us to select the results stored in the history. following is what we see when we try to select the results.

we could use the viva to view the waveform but them we cant see the dc/transient node voltages/operating points of all the nodes annotated on the schematic and so we don't want to do this  approach.

How did you do this with ADE XL? I may be missing something, but I wasn't aware this is possible with ADE XL either (I may have misunderstood your requirement). If it was possible with ADE XL, I would expect that it would be possible with ADE Assembler (not Explorer) since these are much closer... (ADE Assembler is generally a superset of ADE XL, as it's based on the same infrastructure).

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew,

I was able to do it in adexl using the option to select the results, in the adexl form we had an option to browse to the required location and select the file (Results --> select), but it seems that the mastero form doesn't allow you ton browse to any location, it is just giving options to select the results from the same form.

That sounds like you are talking about ADE L, not ADE XL. Even then, this wasn't strictly supported - it wouldn't reliably work depending on the origin of the data.

You can't. There's no support for this in Explorer. There is an enhancement change request, CCR 2072101 for this. I see that there's a new duplicate of this, 2698513, filed yesterday on your behalf.
