Importing stream files in Virtuoso Custom IC Design Environment IC6.1.7-64b

We are trying to import GDS files in Virtuoso (IC6.1.7 – 64b.500.15) into an existing technology (AMS C35B4C3).

Once the CIW appear, we use the File --> Import --> Stream command to read the GDS file, but no "stream in" sub windows appears and we have the following error: ilGetString: arg must be symbol or string. Looking at the CDS.LOG file we can see the following message:

pipoDisplay(transStreamInNewForm)

*ERROR* ilGetString: arg must be symbol or string

On the other hand, we can stream out layouts and the messages in the CDS.LOG file are:

pipoDisplay(transStreamInNewForm)

_xst_out_setGuiFieldValue( "techlib")

_xst_out_setGuiFieldValue( "techlib" "TECH_C35B4")

Also, we can import other kind of files. So, we would like to know if the problem with GDS files could be related to an installation software problem. Any idea to fix the problem?

Thank you.
