EMIR Setup

Hi,

I was reading Spectre Tech Tips: How to Perform EMIR Analysis in ADE Using Spectre APS? - Analog/Custom Design (Analog/Custom design) - Cadence Blogs - Cadence Community and to my understanding EMIR provides IR drop, SHE (self-heating effect) and Electro Migration information.

The flow that I understand is to extract the layout and generate DSPF (detailed standards parasitic format), run the simulation on that file, and then observe the result in layout view.

I have 3 questions,

1- is there a link in community that describes step by step setup for EMIR analysis?

2- what license does EMIR (Voltus-Fi) requires?

3- in that link it says, EMIR provides EM currents, I don't understand what does that mean? say, I ran a simulation on my PA, and make sense to see different IR drop from, say, calibre view, but would it match EMX extracted view results? I suppose EM current is that current when the input has, say, the 60GHz input excitation signal.

Thanks!
