Netlister translates pspice view to specte netlist.

Hi.

I have a cell with a pspcie view. When simulating an instance using this view in ADE directly it is working fine. The netlist uses an include wich is containing the exact pspice code from the view as expected.

Now I use simulate a configuration from hierarchy editor in same ADE setup (just changes the desing from the toplevel to a config pointing on toplevel and copied view and stop list). Now the netlister somehow translates the pspice file into spectre and adds a simulator lang="specte" line at the top. When trying to simulate spectre complains about this:

ERROR (SFE-3132): "mypath.scs" 3: Switching simulator's language mode inside a PSPICE netlist is not allowed. Please remove the statement `simulator lang=mode'.

How can I avoid the translation of the view. I can not find the right setting. Can someone please guide me in the right direction.

Regards, Michael

My pspive view was basically a wrapper that includes a huge pspice netlist. I have wrote this wrapper in spectre now. This works around the issue.

My guess is that you didn't create the pspice view as a "Pspice" view type, but instead picked "Spectre" or something like that. I can't see any way that it would translate the pspice view into spectre - all that happens when I do this is take the text of your pspice view as-is. and add a pspice_include statement at the bottom of your input.scs. No "simulator lang=" statements added anywhere...
