PSS simulation of Oscillators

Hi,

I am simulating an oscillator. In transient simulation, I am getting 10GHz of oscillation, while i am getting 20GHz of oscillation in PSS / HB method. I followed all the steps as mentioned here. (https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/rf-design/40949/pss-simulation-for-vco)

    Dear Sumit Dash,

    As Andrew mentioned, the information in your post really doesn't allow anyone to provide any specific suggestions. If you can share more information about your oscillator (type - harmonic (i.e. resonator based), ring, high-Q/low-Q, expected oscillation frequency), simulation settings for your transient and pss/pnoise simulations, and output logs with any error messages, I'd be willing to provide a few thoughts if you are interested.
