How to changeDPUPERUU

I would like to temporarily set the tech lib DPUPERUU settings from 1000 to 2000 (So I can  create a DEF with the correct numbers for the target tool)
I tried this:
techSetDBUPerUU(techID cv~>cellViewType 2000)
*WARNING* (TECH-2000000): techSetDBUPerUU: The DBUPerUU attribute for viewType 'maskLayout' cannot be set to 2000 because it would introduce conflicts in the specified tech graph.

I have a design lib attached to  libA, which references libB, which references the foundry pdk.
Only the foundry pdk has the DBUNITSPERUU specified.

Any help would be appreciated.

I managed to solve this.I got the problem because a layout was already open. I guess this makes sense when you think about it.
After closing all data Could set it:

INFO (TECH-150001): techSetDBUPerUU: The DBUPerUU for maskLayout view type in techDB 'xxx' has been explicitly set to '2000'. For consistency, the DBUPerUU for hierDesign view type has also been explicitly set to '2000'.
