Cadence open access in cent os 9 Stream

    You didn't ask a question here, but if you look at the supported operating systems for the IC6.1.8 release on http://support.cadence.com and even on the Computing Platform Roadmap you'll see that CentOS 9 Stream is not support and there's no plan to support it. There had been some limited support for CentOS Linux in the past because it was a downstream distribution, but that's now changed with the Stream releases which are upstream distributions (see https://www.centos.org/cl-vs-cs/).

    Of course, that may not have been why you posted - you might have just been telling us what happened when you tried to run on an unsupported OS.
