Reload (ctrl+R) command in VIVA does not work most of the time.

Hello,
I have noticed since the last two months that ctrl+R command in VIVA does not work most of the time.
I think it was triggered when I started to use Load Graph Window.
If I load the template and check the "Specify new results database" and than do a simulation once again, ctrl+R does not work most of the time.
If I simulate things normally without loading template, the chance of ctrl+R working increases slightly but still not always work.

Is there anything that I can check?

I use this setup (before: none) and so far ctrl+R works again (failed once) without needing to click results database in Assembler. let me know if there is any more permanent solution.

The best way of doing this with ADE Assembler is to use Plotting Templates - that's the supported flow for keeping the same graph arrangement in ADE Explorer/Assembler. The control-R approach is mostly designed for use where the data stays in the same place and is for command-line flows.

    See ADE Plotting Templates

If that doesn't help or you want to investigate this further, I'd suggest contacting customer support and creating a support case.

Hi Andrew, Thanks. Plotting Templates really helps.
Btw, is there any way to keep/save column field setup (Name, Vis, History, etc)?

I don't believe the legend information is in the grf files used within the plotting templates currently - that would need to be supported. Cadence Change Request 1900828 is asking for this. It's a reasonable request, but hasn't been implemented yet (relatively few requests so far) - you might want to contact customer support (file a case on the support site) and request that a duplicate is filed on your behalf.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew
