Problem when following Quantus Transistor-Level T2: Parasitic Extraction Training

Hello,

I am following Quantus Transistor-Level T2: Parasitic Extraction Training.

If I do not source QUANTUS.cshrc, I can launch Virtuoso.
But after modifying QUANTUS.cshrc file and source it as per the instructions, I cannot launch Virtuoso.
The CIW pops up and then disappears.

According to the README, I need to modify some paths and run the test script after that.
I ran the test and it is good to go.

This is the only modification I made.

#setenv CDSHOME /cds/IC618        # Please update this path to a valid virtuoso IC618 local path
setenv CDSHOME /data/europractice/cds/cds_2020/IC618

#setenv PVSHOME /cds/PVS161        # Please update this path to a valid Pegasus 19.1 local path
setenv PVSHOME /data/europractice/cds/cds_2020/PVS161

#setenv QRC_HOME /cds/EXT191        # Please update this path to a valid Quantus EXT 19.1 local path
setenv QRC_HOME /data/europractice/cds/cds_2019/EXT191

I might just miss something simple here, but cannot figure it out.

Is there any thing that I can try?

These forums are not for answering questions about training classes. Please follow up with your support channel (which in this case would be with Europractice given the path you mention, I assume).

    Hi Andrew,
maybe I was not clear enough. The training is from Cadence.
The setenv lines are my local paths.

Maybe I was not clear enough. We still don't answer questions about training classes on the forums - you need to go via the support channel (this is not customer support, it's the community forums). I just guessed that you are a Europractice customer since you happened to have "europractice" in the paths you showed - and so I was guessing that you might need to go via Europractice for your Cadence support rather than to Cadence directly. If that's not the situation, then by all means create a case on http://support.cadence.com
