Plotting with corners as x-axis.

delgsy

I basically want to represent the data in the result table, i.e., measurement vs corners, in a form of plot.
I am expecting measurements as y-axis vs corners as x-axis.
a few weeks ago I saw a presentation that show exactly this.

There is an option for this but somehow it does not work.
Is there any thing that I can try?

Have you tried this command, which I believe is the correct means for accomplishing your goal, but when selecting the x-axis on a plot window with only a single plot (i.e., no additional subwindows). In the example you are showing, if I understand correctly, you have a ViVA window with two subwindows. I am wondering if the sequence of commands is not working as there are two x-axes - neither of which are the same variable. Hence, the tool is not clear on which x-axis to operate.

    Thanks.
in my current simulation, it works both in new window or new subwindow.
I checked it again with the result from a few days ago, it still does not work.
    Thanks again.

btw, is there a setting to show all the corners?
In my current plot, only some of them are shown.

Great - that is good to read! I can't speak for your prior simulation.

Yes. Expand the x-axis and the remaining corners should be visible. From the ViVA manual at URL:

"Also, the string for all the intercept points may not be visible on the X-axis when the trace is displayed in its normal size. To view any specific string for a data point, you need to zoom in the graph. "

Not sure which version delgsy is using, but here's an image from running in the current version - as you can see, string axes are shown with plenty of graduations (you can also control the angle of the label on the axis properties):

It works when I zoom in, but that way I cannot see the complete plot, obviously.
    I use Virtuoso IC6.1.8-64b.500.14
If VIVA has its own version, I would like to know where I can see it.
