strobeperiod as a dynamic paramter

Hi,

I would like to define the strobeperiod in such a way,

from 0 to 100ms, strobeperiod is not set, cadence define the sim points by itself.

However, from 100ms, I would like to force strobeperiod = 100us.

How to implement this feature?

My cadence version is IC618-64b.500.24, spectre version is 21.1.0.460.isr10.

Thanks for your info.

This is not currently possible directly but you could adapt the approach taken in this article: How to specify more than one region of time where strobeperiod is enabled in a transient analysis . In that article, I use a Verilog-A model to have multiple windows where I turn strobing on and off; you could also adjust the strobeperiod too within the model (in the example it has the same strobeperiod in each region).
