How to replace the device instance numbers

After creating a circuit, I often want to reassign subscripts such as MOSFET, etc.

What is the best way to do this?

Use the edit properties form? It's not that clear what you're asking here...

In the process of studying the circuit, elements are added, deleted, etc., and the subscripts of the elements are not in the same order. At the stage when the circuit is finalized, we would like to number the disparate subscripts in order, for example, from the one on the upper left to the one on the lower right.

In the schematic editor, use Edit->Renumber Instances.
