As explained in https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/custom-ic-design/38053/display-current-view-in-window-title-bar, it is possible to customize the order of properties of the view opened in a Virtuoso editor in the title bar. This is done using the windowNameFormat variable in the designEditor.window context. Is it possible to customize the window title of maestro (ADE Explorer/Assembler/Verifier) and ViVa windows as well? These are not affected by this setting, and keep using the default format starting with "Virtuoso ® ADE...", but I cannot find similar (windowNameFormat) variables in the Cdsenv editor.

I agree, this doesn't seem to work for the ADE windows. Probably worth reporting to customer support so that a Cadence Change Request (CCR) can be filed on your behalf.

I think the workaround code in How can I change the name of a Virtuoso Layout and Schematic Editor window when it is opened and iconified in Linux? could be used as an alternative for the time being (I didn't check that it definitely solves the problem).
