marknet highlight error

When highlighting with the marknet option in the layout, the net is highlighted on a blank screen where there is no layer.

I have attached a screenshot of the error message in the body of this message.

It is highlighted based on the shape of the cap used in the layout, but there is no cap present at that location.

I'm not sure what the problem is.

Please provide a response.

I initially wondered whether you might have an unplaced instance there (unplaced instances are present in the database but are invisible until the placement status is changed to placed). However, trying that out in the latest version doesn't have that problem and I didn't see any reports of such an issue in the past (you didn't mention which IC subversion you're using - i.e. what Help->About shows).

In practice, this would be best served by contacting customer support (submit a case after logging in) - that way somebody can take a look at your data with you, because this does seem unusual.
