Pin Creation Issue in Virtuoso Layout

Hi,

When I try to create a pin named "vss2p7<0>" in the Virtuoso Layout view, I see the following error message:

1. "Cannot create a net with name vss2p7<0>.

2. dbCreateNet: Bus net base name in name "vss2p7" matches a scalar net name that already exists

Could someone explain what the problem is and how to solve it?

You already have a net named vss2p7 in the design and this cannot coexist with a bus of the same name.

In the same hierarchy level of layout and schematic, I see neither nets nor pins named as vss2p7.

May I know how to verify whether the net with name "vss2p7" exists or not in layout ?

Enable the Navigator Assistant, select 'Nets'. The net will be listed, you can filter to help locate it. 'RMB -> Select -> All Shapes On Net' can help find the associated objects.
