Plot Vdsat from DC sweep analysis?

StephanWeber

Hi,

I managed to get e.g. Vdsat or Vdsat_margin from the pure DC Operating point.

For this I used the results browser to get the required calculator expression, and and up in this output:

pv("DUT.Catena.Ampli.ItoV.opaLV.M18.m1" "vsat_marg" ?result "dcOpInfo")

However, actutally I setup a whole DC sweep on input current, so I want not only a single output value like 540mV, but a plot how Vdsat_margin behaves vs Iinput.

How to achieve this? I think I need to extend the save statement in some way. In the DC analysis setup I found no suited entry fields so far and using the option enable_dcsweep_op_info=yes seems not to help as well.

Bye Stephan

    Hi Stephan,

there is a video available that explains how to plot OP parameters for a DC sweep.

    Regards,

    Matthias

Thanks Matthias! The link works, but I got this error message:

The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support.

Can I get the video file directly, or a pdf?

    Bye Stephan

On another video I got this:

No compatible source was found for this media.

I am using Firefox under Linux.

    Bye Stephan

    Stephan,

There are many posts on this in the forum (I've lost count of the number of times I've answered this question). See this post (the second bullet point). You can then use the OS function in the calculator to access the operating point parameter versus sweep.
