Simulation startup is too slow

Editing schematic is working fine with good pace. But as I start my simulation it takes a lot of time to just start the simulation, and after simulation gets completed results are also showing very late. What is the reason behind this and how can I solve this issue?

    Speaking (writing?) for myself, I cannot provide you any reasonable suggestions as I don't know what tool you are using, what type of simulation and the command, what size netlist, what type of view used to generate the netlist, what other simulator options you have set, ...,etc.

    If you are using Assembler or Explorer and are referring to one of these two tools, there are some possible reasons outlined in the Troubleshooting Article at URL:

    or since I don't know what versions of what tools you are referring to:
