Waiting for available license for Virtuoso(R) Spectre

Hello,

I am going to use "msource" in "rflib" to peform EVM and ACPR simulation.

However, when I run the simulation, the simulation only show the below statement:
"waiting for available license for spectre" and don't proceed

I also try other component in "rflib" but only "msource" have the above problem. I think if there is mismatch in version, other component in "rflib" also don't work

Please advise.

Good days,

Vincent

You did not indicate what version of the Cadence tools you are using. If you are using spectre 19.1 or earlier, you may want to review the Troubleshooting article at URL:

Apparently, the rflib Msource component was not released for general usage until spectre20.1, and hence a special license was required to utilize it.
