AMSD control block file?

I need to run AMS to simulate a digital IP block alongside my analog design.  I've downloaded xcellium, and with help from the AMS RAK successfully ran a mixed signal simulation......ONCE.

On attempting the second run, I get an error message related to a spice file somewhere, the error message is not very helpful

amsspice: *Error (spiceCB.scs,23): Instance 'spiceCB.scs' has multiple specifications in
the AMSD control block file. Fix it to have an unique specification and re-run

Where might I find the offending file?

Ah interesting, there is a file (I was initially looking for a statement using grep) called spiceCB.scs.  It appears to be auto generated, and also appears to be concatenating the same information presumably after every run.   So, the first run it generates the appropriate stuff, then on the second run instead of overwriting it, or leaving it alone, it adds to it thus causing the "multiple specifications".

How do I prevent this behavior?

I found a couple of very old reports of this which were fixed - one back in IC615 and one in early IC617, but nothing recent. How exactly are you running the simulation? Is this from ADE? Is it command-line? How are you referencing the SPICE block for "spi_top.scs"?

Probably it would be best to handle this via customer support, to be honest.
