Faster ADE Assembler startup?

StephanWeber

Hi,

I see that Assembler loads all existing tests on startup, although maybe only ONE is active. My Assembler setups often have 20 Tests or more, so I wonder is there an option to load only the active tests (or even none)?

In addition: Can I make the option permanent to see in the output setup by default only the enabled tests (instead of all)?

Bye Stephan

    No and No.

We have made changes to store the history information differently which should speed up startup (this avoids all the history information needing to be loaded at startup) - it would be worth contacting customer support to check whether there's any problems with your Assembler view which might be preventing that from happening, and also to see if there are any opportunities to improve startup time in general if it's very slow.
