"Error" TrTBFinder.cxt

Hi,

I encounter this error in CIW whenever Cadence runs:

*Error* loadContext: could not open file - "./TrTBFinder/64bit/TrTBFinder.cxt"

Could you please guide me to solve this issue?

Thanks

This is not something that is part of standard Virtuoso. After a little bit of hunting, I found that it's included in at least some of the online training material on http://support.cadence.com - for example, it's in the Virtuoso Layout Design Basics course. In essence it's a utility for accessing the Training Bytes from within Virtuoso.

In the database I looked at, it was included in design/custom_oa22/TrTBFinder and there was an additional .cdsinit_add file within that to load the utility (it adds a menu in the CIW). My guess is that you have a .cdsinit in your environment that is trying to do a loadContext() of this file but it's not present in your workspace. If you didn't do this yourself, I suggest you contact whoever is responsible for your IC environment setup; you can probably just comment out the loadContext() line in your .cdsinit and that will fix the error.
