spectre netcap reporting with eng/sci notation

Zol

Hi everybody,

Is there a way to make spectre print out the values in engineering/scientific format for the netcap info analysis? It would make sorting/filtering easier, especially if a csv format could be used. I have not found in the reference and user guides.

A slightly related question: does the extremes=yes or extremes=only option have any effect on netcap? I have not noticed any difference.

Thanks,
Zoltan

PS: I am running Spectre (R) Circuit Simulator Version 21.1.0.509.isr12 64bit

In ADE, use Simulation→Options→Analog and then on the annotation tab, set notation to sci or float. The numbers in the file (assuming you've used Where=file) will then be in scientific or floating point format (similar but not with engineering suffixes).

extremes=yes doesn't make a difference, and there's no option to save to CSV, unfortunately.
