Showing OP in ADE Explorer

Dear Forum,

I tried to look up if somebody had the same problem, but it seems not. Therefore, I wanted to ask if someone has experienced the same problem with showing the OP parameters in ADE Explorer: I can only see the following parameters (so not "region", "vgt", etc.). Is this problem related to the model files of the tech? I am currently using 6.1.8.

Kind regards,

Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas,

My guess is that your PDK has subckt models and has the opParamExprList set in the CDF for a device, which maps a limited set of operating point parameters from an underlying device within the subckt to the symbol representing the subckt. You should be able to see this by using Tools→CDF→Edit in the CIW, picking the device in question, and then looking at the Simulation Information tab for Spectre as the simulator.

    Hi Andrew,

Indeed, this is the case. I think I will have to ask the CAD manager to change this (since it is read-only). Thanks for point this out.

    Kind regards,

    Nicolas
