ParaViwe from EMX GUI 6.3 issue

Dear all,

I am trying to visualize the mesh of a layout simulated with EMX 6.3 from the GUI of ICADVM20.1-64b.500.33. To do this I have:

1) verified my system's compatibility as described here: Setting up Paraview in EMX 6.0, 6.1, and 6.2 (cadence.com)

2)  run successfully the command checkSysConf EMX6.3 as described here: How can I tell if my workstation has the correct patches and OS configuration in order to run EMX? (cadence.com)

3) created my local emxconfig.il as described at point 1 with proper settings

4) followed what explained at module 5 from EMX6.3: Introduction to EMX Planar 3D Solver (cadence.com)

What I get when  I press the "mesh" button is that paraview 5.7 opens, but although all the settings in the window are as described by the document of point 4, the Layout #1 tab, renderview remains blank. Even opening a new layout tab and trying for example the render view button again does not help.

Am I missing some settings/steps? I would not know what else to check to get the mesh visualization.

Thank you

Regards

It sounds like you've done the obvious steps. I suggest you contact customer support - will be much easier for us to check what's going on that way (submit a case after logging in).
